Polyphagous Shot-Hole Borer detected in more Vic Park trees

The Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development has confirmed more invasive Polyphagous Shot-Hole Borer infestations within the Town.
 
Two trees – one each at Read and Raphael parks – have been identified for removal in the coming weeks by the Department as the fight continues to eradicate the pest.
Read Park tree removal: 28 October
Raphael Park tree removal: 5-7 November
 
🙋‍♂️ What you can do 🙋‍♀️
 
🌿 Please do not move any sticks or plant material from our parks, particularly those mentioned above, as this can spread the pest.
❌ Familiarise yourself with the quarantine measures currently in place for much of the Perth metropolitan area. (link below)
👀 Inspect trees in your own yard/verge for signs of borer, and report any suspect infestations via the MyPestGuide Reporter app
