Neighbourhood Watch

Neighbourhood Watch is a program supported by WA Police and the Town of Victoria Park. The Town supports and works closely with Neighbourhood Watch groups to hold regular meetings, discuss local crime problems, and generate effective solutions. WA Police and other key agencies also participate in the Neighbourhood Watch group, depending on what crime problems the local community are experiencing.

Neighbourhood Watch is only effective when owned and driven by local residents living in the area. The Town will not coordinate or run any Neighbourhood Watch groups but will support and work closely with Neighbourhood Watch groups to identify crime problems and generate solutions to the causes of these problems.

Multiple Neighbourhood Watch groups are operating in the Town, and they are having genuine, positive impacts on real and perceived crime in their area. If you are interested in establishing a Neighbourhood Watch group, please contact the Town.
