Easy to Access

The Easy to Access sub program looks to ensure the Town’s public spaces are readily available to all members of the community. It improves pedestrian and cyclist access to create a linked network of parks and places.

This includes the creation of logical connections between public open spaces, main streets and residents, physical upgrades footpath crossings or under/overpasses, wayfinding, as well as the creation of active park streets that include integrated street furniture, shade trees, art and signage and lighting.

Collectively, these elements add layers to our Town to ensure that our various public open spaces are easily accessible to all.
