Parks and Places
Is there a park, micro park or place near you that you see as an extension to your own backyard? We'd love to see more residents help us look after these green spaces to ensure our neighbourhoods are thriving for everyone to enjoy.
Become a member of the (vic) Park Care Crew and help us by:

Street Trees
The Town plants over 800 street trees a year to increase tree diversity, contribute to a better ecology for our living environment and to beautify our neighbourhoods. Caring for these is a huge task and we need all the help we can get to keep them growing strong.
Anyone in the Town of Victoria Park can care for our trees. You can care for your street tree by:
- Providing additional watering by pouring a bucket of water over the base of the tree
- Removing weeds or litter from the base of the tree
- Removing any low shoots at the base of the tree
- Reporting any damage or maintenance requirements to the Town
No need to apply for this, just get caring. For more info on street trees, click below.
