Climate Calm: Finding Your Chill in a Warming World

Past Event

Are you stressed, scared, or just plain stuck when it comes to climate change? You’re not alone.

Feeling powerless in the face of huge global problems? Yup, we get it.

Worried about how climate stress seeps into your daily life? Let’s talk.

Can’t make those dramatic life changes like going vegan and feel like you’re not doing “enough”? You’re not alone in that either.

Join us for a 3-hour immersive workshop during Mental Health Week 2024, designed for young people aged 17-25 who are grappling with eco-anxiety and the mental load of climate change. Let’s break down the overwhelming fear and guilt that comes with a warming world—and let’s talk about it, for real.

This isn’t about fake reassurance or feeling hopeless—it’s about being real, feeling less alone, and finding ways to move forward, however small the steps might be.

Town of Victoria Park acknowledges the traditional custodians of this land and respects past, present and emerging leaders, their continuing cultural heritage, beliefs and relationship with the land, which continues to be important today.
