In line with its dynamic approach to parking, under which parking conditions and pricing are reviewed every three months and amended in response to levels of demand, the Town has recently increased parking fees.
The change in standard fees (from $1.70 - $3.50 per hour, or $8 discounted daily rate in long-term parking areas) means the Town of Victoria Park is still the cheapest inner city local government area for parking, with its demand-based pricing model designed to manage supply of parking spaces so access and fees are equitable for all.
Please note that some parking facilities were previously at our discount rate. However, with the recent increase in occupancy, along with changes in the fees, rates have been adjusted accordingly.
