Online Form - Street Tree Request

Requests for new street trees must be received by the last Friday in January each year. This is to ensure that we are able to source the best stock available for planting.

Please be aware that street trees may not be able to be planted in some locations. Trees must adhere to the following principles:

  • Tree location to be at least 1.5m from existing crossovers, 6m from lighting or power poles, 8m from other trees, and generally halfway between the property boundary and the kerb.
  • Consideration must be given to the existing services (power, telecom, water) within the verge area.
  • Road safety sight lines and clearance must be maintained.

Note: all other matters concerning trees and verges (pruning, fallen branches etc) must be submitted using our online service request here.

To request a new street tree, fill out the quick form below or contact the Town at admin@vicpark.wa.gov.au

Do you live in this property?

Are you the owner of the property?

Is the site part of a strata?

If yes, it is a courtesy to let your neighbour know you are requesting a verge tree. Where the verge adjoins a property (usually the front unit), that property’s residents/owners have preference over use of the verge. The Town prefers all residents in a complex are aware a new tree is to be planted.

Are you willing to water the tree during summer?
