Have a Go Day

Looking for a fun-filled day of activity, community spirit, and sporting excitement? Join us for Have a Go Day for an action-packed event designed to showcase and connect you to the incredible local sporting clubs in the Town.

This free, all-ages event is the perfect opportunity to get active and explore a range of sports within your community. Local sporting clubs will offer activities, demonstrations, and the chance to meet the passionate people behind each sport.

What to expect:

• Fun, family-friendly activities
• Face painting
• Sausage sizzle
• A raffle prize competition
• Opportunities to join a local sporting club
• Meet and get a selfie with a West Coast Eagles mascot

Free activities on all day! 

• Yoga sessions happening from 10.30-11.15am and 11.45am-12.15pm with Neil Urry
• Try your hand at squash at the inflatable squash courts by Squash WA and Vic Park Squash Club
• Give walking football a go with Vic Park Soccer Club
• Practice football kicking and handball with Vic Park Junior Football Club
• Dunk it with the Perth Basketball Association
• Shoot some hockey drills with Curtin University Hockey Club
• Practice some hits with Curtin Vic Park Cricket Club
• Give pickleball a shot with the Town of Victoria Park Leisure Team
• Roll with some skates with Street Roller Hockey League
• Compete in the rowing machine challenge with Curtin University Boat Club
• Try a take down with Curtin Elite Judo Club
• Make a smoothie with the Town of Victoria Park Wellbeing Team
