After School Storytelling Sessions

Join John Curtin Gallery for a storytelling session to hear Yindjibarndi Creation Stories from Juluwarlu Art Group in their storybooks.

These sessions are a unique opportunity to connect with the rich storytelling traditions of the Pilbara region. Readings from Ngurra Nyjunggamu – When the World was Soft – Yindjibarndi Creation Stories offers a space for learning, reflection, and creativity.

After the storytelling, participants can dive into fun, hands-on creative activities and games inspired by the stories. Whether it’s painting, drawing, or crafting, no artistic skills are required — just bring your imagination!

Bookings essential and open to all ages – everyone is welcome!
