The Town has received a development application for additions/alterations to the existing dwelling at the above-mentioned property.  The additions include the conversation of a carport to a bedroom at the front of the dwelling and a bathroom extension at the rear of the dwelling.

In accordance with the Town’s Local Planning Policy 37 – Community Consultation on Planning Proposals, you are invited to comment on the following:

  • Boundary Setbacks – The application proposes a wall with a setback of 1.0m to the north-eastern lot boundary (adjoining your property) in lieu of the minimum setback of 1.5m required under clause 5.1.3 C3.1 of the Residential Design Codes (R-Codes) Volume 1.  

Please note that the above mentioned matters will be considered based on the merits of the case, and with regard to the relevant design principles and any comments received from nearby affected landowner(s) and occupier(s).
