The Town has received a development application for Shop(s) including a supermarket, Restaurant(s)/Cafe(s) and Child Care Premises. The value of the development is estimated to be $27.5 million.

The proposed development includes :

  • Ground floor uses of supermarket, retail tenancies and food and beverage tenancies, with loading area, vehicle circulation space and 14 external car bays.
  • Two levels of basement car parking with approximately 218 car bays.
  • A Child Care Centre on the upper floor, accommodating a maximum of 94 children.
  • Vehicle access via a new access point to/from Albany Highway, a new access point to/from Shepperton Road (left in and left out only) and the existing right-of-way running between the subject site and Oats Street.
  • Signage and landscaping.

In accordance with Local Planning Policy 37 – “Community Consultation on Planning Proposals” the Town of Victoria Park is inviting you to provide comments on the proposal.

It is noted that the decision-maker will take into account the comments received, however, are not obliged to support these views. The above matter(s) will be considered based on the merits of the case, and with regard to the relevant design principles and any comments received from nearby affected landowner(s) and occupier(s).
