5.2023.452.1 - 51 Howick Street, Lathlain (Closed)


The Town has received a development application for an outbuilding (shed), patio awning and siteworks at No. 51 Howick Street in Lathlain. The proposed structure is to be setback 1m from the common lot boundary, and the siteworks to be rectified to be no greater than 0.48m above natural ground level. 

In accordance with Local Planning Policy 37 – Community Consultation on Planning Proposals, you are invited to comment on the following:

  • Outbuilding Wall Height – The Residential Design Codes permit the proposed dwelling to have a maximum wall height of 2.4 metres and maximum ridge height of 4.2 metres above natural ground level. The outbuilding and attached patio awning is proposed to have wall and ridge height of up to 3.8 metres.
