The Town has received a development application for the Continuation of Residential Building (Short-term Accommodation) land use at the above-mentioned property.

In accordance with Local Planning Policy 37 – Community Consultation on Planning Proposals, you are invited to comment on the following:

  • Proposed Use - A Residential Building (Short-term Accommodation) is classified as an “AA” (discretionary use) within the ‘Residential’ zone under Town Planning Scheme No. 1.
  • Car Parking - The proposed use proposes a shortfall in on-site car parking of 1 bay. While 2 bays are required to be provided to comply, 1 bays have been proposed.

It is noted that the decision-maker will take into account the comments received, however, are not obliged to support these views. The above matter(s) will be considered based on the merits of the case, and with regard to the relevant design principles and any comments received from nearby affected landowner(s) and occupier(s).
