The Town has received a development application for DAP Application (Multiple Dwellings) at the above-mentioned property.

The proposed development is summarised as follows:

 The proposed development consists of two towers linked by a multistorey carpark (including a basement level) and service area ‘plinth’. A total of 200 apartments are proposed. The East Tower is proposed to have a height of 22 storeys, while the West Tower is proposed to have a height of 19 storeys.

A location plan (extracted from the applicant's supporting information) is as follows:


 In accordance with Local Planning Policy 37 – Community Consultation on Planning Proposals, you are invited to comment on the following:

 

  • Building Height - The East Tower is proposed to have a height of 22 storeys, which exceeds the maximum building height of 19 storeys. The West Tower is proposed to have a height of 19 storeys
  • Plot Ratio - The proposed development has a plot ratio of 6.55:1 with a plot ratio area of 31180m2. The maximum plot ratio permitted under Town Planning Scheme No. 1 is 5:1 with a plot ratio area of 23800m2.
