Lines of Consent: Drawing Out Consent and Healthy Relationships

Saturday 27th July 2024

Whether you love sketching a still life, doodling patterns for mindfulness or scribbling away as a stim – join us for a workshop for all things drawing and illustration. Some of us aren’t so great with words, but pictures can help us get our feelings out, communicate ideas or just get our creative juices flowing. While you find your style, we'll discuss consent and healthy relationships in LGBTIQA+ communities.
As Aussie societiy grapples with how to improve understandings of consent, gendered safety, and bodily autonomy, we aim to continue this crucial dialogue through a queer lens. Share your thoughts on improving consent education, approaching these conversations, and finding help. This is the perfect place to connect with like-minded young people in a safe, creative space.
Advocacy & Arts is a series of workshops designed for LGBTQIA+ youth aged 16-25 and their allies!
