Reserve parking bay agreement

The Town of Victoria Park provides private parking bay agreements, which provide business-allocated parking bays in one of the Town of Victoria Park’s car parks.

Credit Card Payment Surcharge - When processing your credit card payments, the Town is charged significant merchant fees by the banks. To recover a portion of the merchant fees on credit card payments, Town levies a small surcharge of 1% to our customers.

Conditions

  • The minimum Reserved Parking Bay agreement term is one month.
  • The maximum Reserved Parking Bay agreement term is 12 months.
  • Restricted to the Town of Victoria Park’s car parks (King George Street CP and Hawthorne Place CP).

Terms and Conditions

  • Applicants must read the Terms and Conditions and make an enquiry with the Town of Victoria Park Parking for clarification should it be required.
  • Terms and Conditions must be accepted by the applicant and the application form must be signed before the application can be processed.
  • The vehicle is only permitted to park in the Reserved Bay if a valid permit is displayed on the dash so that the relevant information is clearly visible from the outside of the vehicle.
  • The Reserved Bay may only be used by the permit that is allocated to it. A Reserved Bay user may only park in the allocated bay as displayed on the permit.
  • Reserved Bays are allocated by the Town of Victoria Park Parking and may be subject to change.
  • Reserved Bay Permit Holders must park their vehicle in the designated bay at all times. Non-adherence may result in an infringement being issued that may not be revoked.
  • Reserved Bays are identified and set aside by dedicated signage but Town of Victoria Park Parking is unable to guarantee unauthorised vehicles will not park in the bay.
  • In the instance an unauthorised vehicle is parked in the Reserved Bay, it must be reported to the Town of Victoria Park for infringements to be issued.
  • Offending vehicles must be reported for Officers to attend, and the offending vehicle registration must be provided to the Town of Victoria Park. The permit holder must then obtain a free hour ticket and display this on their dash
  • The permit holder will be notified of the outcome once the Officer has attended.
  • To report an unauthorised vehicle parking in a Reserved Bay, please contact the Town of Victoria Park Administration
    • Monday to Friday 8 am-5 pm call 9311 8111
    • Monday to Friday before 8 am and after 5 pm call 9311 8111, and
    • Saturday and Sunday between 8 am and 5 pm call 9311 8111.
  • If a Reserved Bay Permit holder is unable to park in their designated bay due to an unauthorised vehicle being parked there, the permit holder is subject to the restrictions of Car Park Number 4 [King George Street]
  • If the permit holder is parked in any other bay than the allocated Reserved Bay they are required to display a valid ticket on the dash of their vehicle
  • A parking permit may be cancelled by the Town of Victoria Park Parking due to non-adherence to the Reserved Bay Terms & Conditions without notice.
  • A parking permit may be cancelled by the Permit Holder by providing a minimum of thirty (30) days' written notice to the Town of Victoria Park Parking.
  • All fees are inclusive of GST and may be subject to change without notice•The full amount for Reserved Bay must be paid in full prior to the bay being reserved and the permit being issued.
  • The application fee is $30 per permit
  • The daily fee for a Reserved Bay is $7.50/day
  • Minimum Reserved Parking Bay agreement term 1 month
  • Maximum Reserved Parking Bay agreement term 12 months
