My priority on council is to support the development of a sustainable, inclusive, and diverse Victoria Park.

I’m a local with a passion for bicycles, composting, and creating good places. There’s a good chance you’ve seen me around on a cargo bike with a kid or two, often in a playground. I’m learning Greek, and I also enjoy gardening, sewing, and reading.

I’ve worked as an academic researcher since 2005, at UWA, Murdoch, and Curtin. My research has involved work with groups around the world, focusing on how communities shape the technologies they rely on; how activists work to create change; and, more recently, on climate action.

Teaching has been a great preparation for council work in many ways.  I’ve been teaching at university since 2006 in a range of subjects, and also have experience teaching in other spaces. I’m always happy to talk through ideas and evidence.

You’re welcome to get in touch to talk about your concerns, your big ideas for Vic Park’s future, or your questions.
