I am excited and honoured to have been elected onto Council in October 2023. I have lived in the Town since 2016, and I love where I live.

I have an honours degree in Biochemistry, and a postgraduate certificate in Environmental Decision-Making, but I have spent the last 10 years being successfully self-employed as a writer and waste educator. I was previously a Director on the Board of the Plastic Free Foundation, which runs the popular Plastic Free July campaign and was instrumental in advocating to government for legislating for alternatives to single-use plastic in WA.

I have also volunteered my time across many organisations including the Vic Park Transition Network, the Carlisle Street Activators, and the Burswood Community Cinema, as well as being involved in more grassroots initiatives such as the Rutland Corner composting hub and local verge planting projects.

I am committed to working with my fellow elected members to enhance our Town and further foster inclusivity, resilience, sustainability and liveability.
