Duncan Olde is a financial management professional, Certified Practising Accountant and senior executive with a wealth of experience covering everything from taxation and budgeting to compliance, reporting and strategy.
After completing a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) from Curtin University, Duncan worked as a small business and tax accountant for a number of years, becoming a small business owner in 2003 and starting work with the City of Albany in 2011. Over more than a decade at the City, he rose from Principal Accounting Officer to Manager of Finance and then Executive Director of Corporate & Commercial Services, a role with a diverse portfolio of supplementary services and assets including bush fire brigade management and airport administration.
As Chief Financial Officer at the Town of Victoria Park, Duncan works closely with Council members and the rest of the executive team, implementing and reporting on key strategic initiatives. He uses his considerable experience in business and local government to provide professional advice and mentorship across the Town, strengthening links between elected members, the executive team and the wider organisation.
