The Town has received a development application for Child Care Premises at the above-mentioned property.

In accordance with Local Planning Policy 37 – “Community Consultation on Planning Proposals”, you are invited to comment on the following:

  • Proposed Use - A Child Care Premises is classified as an “AA” (discretionary use) within the Residential Zone under Town Planning Scheme No. 1. The proposed child care premises proposes;
    • 2 storey commercial building
    • A maximum of 50 children
    • The opening hours between 6:30am to 6:00pm
    • 11 car parking bays
    • A detached masonry store located adjacent to the South-western and South-eastern lot boundary
  • Maximum Height of Boundary Walls – A boundary wall to the North-western lot boundary with a maximum height of 3.73 metres above natural ground level, in lieu of maximum height of 3.5 metres.
  • Maximum Number Boundary Walls – The development proposes 3 boundary walls to the North-western, South-western and South-Eastern lot boundary, in lieu of a maximum of 2 boundary wall.
  • Fill and Retaining - A retaining wall is proposed to be constructed along the North-western common boundary. The retaining wall is proposed to have height of 0.560mm above natural ground level.
