The Town has received a development application for Retrospective Change of Use from “Office/Warehouse” to “Recreation – Private" at the above-mentioned property.   The application seeks retrospective approval for the gym that is operating from the site (known as Frank’s Gym).

 

In accordance with Local Planning Policy 37 – “Community Consultation on Planning Proposals”, you are invited to comment on the following:

 

  • Proposed Use – The use of land as a gym is classified under the land use “Recreation – Private” which is an “AA” (discretionary use) within the Office/Residential zone under Town Planning Scheme No. 1.

 

  • Car Parking - The proposed use proposes a shortfall in on-site car parking of 1 bay. While 9 bays are required to be provided to comply, 8 bays have been proposed.
