Disability Access and Inclusion Plan
The Disability Access and Inclusion Plan 2012 – 2017 (DAIP) supports the Town to proactively work across all Directorates to address barriers challenges experienced by people with disabilities when accessing Council buildings, facilities, information, consultation, complaints and decision making processes.
The DAIP is a dynamic document and feedback is always welcomed to support the Town address access and inclusion issues that are impacting on people with a disability. The DAIP is available in alternative formats such as large print upon request.

How does the Town of Victoria Park continue a dialogue with the community on access and inclusion issues?
The Town's Life in the Park newsletter is a mode of communication that is used to provide information on achievements made through the Disability Access and Inclusion Plan 2012 - 2015. Residents and visitors are encouraged to provide feedback to the Town on access and inclusion matters which can be done through information provision in alternative formats and communication through email or speaking to the Neighbourhood Enrichment Seniors, Access and Inclusion Officer.
Yes. The Town of Victoria Park has an established Disability Access Working Group who meets bimonthly to oversee the implementation of the annual work plan of initiatives contained within the Disability Access and Inclusion Plan.
